GAN Magnetic Megaminx

Really nice out of the box. I absolutely enjoy playing with this and for good reason, it’s really well made. Everything with this puzzle is above average except for 1 thing: the size. This isn’t really that big of a problem but it just means that you have to get used to it. But other than that this puzzle is a good bang for my buck and that’s saying something because we all know about gan prices! Also shipping was slow sadly.

My favourite new toy, equalled my pb first try, took 8 seconds off second try. To nitpick, the different shades green/blue pieces are a little similar, and the matte colour might slow recognition on the last face a bit, but this is still a comfortable improvement on my previous Megaminx. The faces stay in place quite well. The white and cream are nice and distinct from each other. Adjustable tension is easy to do, the starting GES nuts seemed the best to me, which made life easier.

When you think of the GAN megaminx, one thing comes to mind: expensive. This is true, however it is cancelled out by the fact it is so good! The magnets are a teeensy bit strong, but the cube is very light. It is a lot like any GAN cube, but with twice the amount of faces. The GES took a little while to get used to (shame), but now I have the hang of it, however if a bit tedious. This is definitely not the megaminx you start of on, but is a good upgrade. Also, If the cube is so light, shouldn’t it cost less? Overall a good cube for comp

Moves really smoothly and everything about this cube is perfect. I wouldn't recommend this to beginners though because of the pricing but overall this is a great speed cube
