High hopes - from lots of other high praise, and it is certainly a good cube. Moyo still uses screws for center-piece travel, which is a dark art to get exactly right for you (and for every piece to be the same), and they use the same tensioning system seen in pretty much everything else they have released... so the main upgrade here is the adjustable edge magnets. They adjust from 1 to 5, and is a welcomed addition to this 2021 version.
Took a little while to truly set up the right combo of travel, tension and magnet strength, but when it is set up like the other cubes I have, then I could compare. It turns well, is very quiet, and is more stable than fast (in my setup). FYI - out of the box, it was fast but mashable - I needed it tighter for stability. Adding a little Dignitas for smoothness, I also use some DNM just to get it a little snappier. Great corner cutting, no worries there. I would just say that in order to get it nice an snappy, aligning on turns, the downside is needing a little effort to start the turns. Sure, it can snap into place, but you then have to snap it OUT of it to initiate a turn. There's where it loses out to my GAN 11m Pro (like all the others do) because that is beautifully snappy and ALSO effortless to turn.
So - its a very, very good cube for the price point, and has earnt a shared number 2 spot on my list, alongside the Tornado V2.
