The Axis cube is effectively a normal Rubik's cube with the added constraint that "centres" have to be oriented correctly. This means most of the Rubik last layer algorithms don't work. It has been fun working out which algorithms are still usable with the Axis cube. I would also like to get a mirror Axis cube. These are difficult to solve because parity problems become apparent at the end of a solve.

This is a fun modification of the 3x3, can take a minute to wrap your head around what pieces go where. Turning is smooth but not fast, due to the need to align the layers. Nice feel and great value for the price
