The Cylinder Cube by the QiYi Brand is a variant of the 3x3 and designed to make a slightly tougher/different solve, but still based on a traditional 3x3 solve. Lookout for center orientation and parity caused by multiple pieces that look the same.
The mechanism is good quality - at this price definitely provides excellent value for money. Tutorial is included.

My Dad had a cylinder cube when I was a kid, sadly it was lost. Seeing this in the store brought back many memories, so I bought it! And by gosh am I happy I did. Having played with it, it is much smoother than I would have expected and is as much fun as I remember.

Never had a puzzle like this, could solve about half of it with 3x3 knowledge, probably won’t learn it by heart but still a fun puzzle to work out!
