Speedcube Lube is a high performance silicone lubricant recommended for use with your speed cube. Generally lubricants improve speed and control of your speed cube - ensuring you get the optimal solve each time.
- Weight 1 Lube is a fast - high speed lubricant - and is meant for everyday lubrication of your cube.
- Weight 5 Lube is thick - gummy - lubricant and is intended for the core cube mechanism and screws.

Speedcube Lube is 10ml /10cc in size and comes in a bottle with a control tip.

Quite gummy, but works well on my Tornado V3 because it slows it down which gives me more control

I'd thought that this (as no.1) was going to be super slick, and make my RS3M fly. I found that this lube definitely makes any cube smoother, but you can easily overdo it (even with a small number of drops) and it then feels like you've poured thick motor oil in there :)
I realise now that this is no issue with the lube (as I think it works very well), but there's a relationship between the plastic, and the natural friction/mechanism in each cube, your own preference on the 'feel' you like, the lube, and how you use it.
Basically it's pretty much trial and error :). I now find that a couple of drops is the max I want in my cube, and I'll maybe look at mixing with core lube in future.
