The Speedstacks Gen 5 Pro Timer is the latest iteration of the Speedstacks timer range, bringing some new features to make the user experience better.
The Gen 5 timer has two operation modes namely:
To switch modes just hold the RESET button for 5 seconds.
It now has new reinforced design for the POWER and RESET buttons to reduce wear over time, along with a new Hold-feature, created to prevent lost times when the timer is slammed.
It also has a new snap in system for the Gen 5 Mat so the timer doesn't get knocked off the mat, and the TD cord now gets plugged in underneath the timer so that it doesn't accidentally get unplugged.
All these features create less disturbances while solving, giving u the freedom to focus on getting that personal best.
Please note that the Gen 5 timer does not work with the Gen 4 mats.

- I Like : very easy to use (my 1st timer anyway) I like the design, and the bag is big enough to take heaps of cube in it ☺️
I use it everyday.. having one at home help before a competition.
- I Don’t like : no big deal but.. like old timers the time limit is still 10min.. they could have made it to 20/30min (useful for 4bld or 5bld)
And still a bit pricey.. sorry to say that 😐

This is a really great timer for any level of cubers! The only thing is I can’t figure out how to connect it to cstimer on my computer.
