YongJun (YJ) MGC Square-1 Magnetic SQ-1

It’s really good the magnets are strong which is good because when you turn it will click into space but the turning is sometimes rough if you don’t really Aline the pieces well, but the corner cutting is really good and that brings my review for this cube 4 stars and I do recommend this cube

I got this because I wanted to learn how to solve the squan and already own a number of YJ MGC cubes. This doesn’t disappoint from their reputation. Can’t fault it at all, granted I’m no squan legend, it feels great, looks great and turns great in my opinion. Well worth it.

Extremely smooth and quick!

Fast and smooth cube, but a piece snapped off mid algorithm after about a week of being used??

Not difficult to solve but you need to learn quite a few base algorithms to solve it. Barely anything is intuitive, however there is a couple of easy steps.

This is a great cube but it comes really dry out of the box and it’s really and after a month of using it it’s still really dry. I tried putting lube in it which did help a bit but not much. This cube is still great. I suggest that if you want a good cube straight out of the box get the volt.
